HVAC Technician, Wednesday-Saturday 2nd shift

HVAC Technician β Responsibilities:
- Responsible for start-up, normal operation, monitoring, and shutdown of HVAC and equipment.
- Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair for mechanical systems.
- Maintain coolers and freezers including Ultra Low temperature Freezer.
- Maintain centrifugal and reciprocating refrigeration chillers.
- Maintain chilled water systems including distribution and condenser pumps.
- Maintain air compressors and electrical power systems/stand-by power generation equipment.
- Follow current cGMPs and good business practices (G), adhering to SOPs, GDPs, and quality standards.
- Participate in rotational on-call for site emergency work.
- Ensure safe hands-on maintenance of plant manufacturing equipment and support equipment.
- Become fully gown qualified to work within production areas.
- Communicate/coordinate with departments and Facilities Management for planned/unplanned work.
- Plan/schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled/non-scheduled PM or general work.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Must be willing/able to work WedβSat, 14:00β12:30am (6 months of MonβFri 7:00β3:30 training).
- Technical school training with field experience in AC, heating, chilled water systems, building automation controls, and maintenance.
- HVAC Technician II: 2+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 5+ years).
- HVAC Technician III: 5+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 8+ years).
- HVAC Technician IV: 8+ years related experience (or HSD/GED with 8+ years).
- Electronic/PLC/mechanical/building automation systems experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- EPA certification for refrigeration gases.
