Responsibilities:
- Perform all work in compliance with global and local Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
- Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on basic heating and cooling systems (unit heaters, gas furnace, humidifiers, freezers).
- Install, repair, and maintain complex heating/cooling systems (multi-zone heating; ventilating and air conditioning equipment; pneumatic, electric, and electronic control systems).
- Balance airflow in air handling systems, fume hoods, and specialty applications to meet design specifications.
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on process and comfort chiller systems (water/glycol).
- Preventative maintenance on HVAC coils.
- Install, replace, and test filter systems (e.g., HEPA, frame filters).
- Inspect, validate, and repair HEPA filters (air velocity, static pressure, DOP smoke tests, fan airflow/balance, adjust belts/motors/prefilters, check/validate alarms, replace differential pressure switches, clean blower cabinets).
- Be certified in CFC recovery equipment and maintain CFC records.
- Support communications between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and site customers.
- Document all work in alignment with cGMP Good Documentation Practices.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of mechanical experience in an HVAC industrial environment.
- EPA Certification.
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas/work authorization.
Additional Preferences:
- Maintenance experience in manufacturing (or relevant field); FDA regulated industry experience preferred.
- English speaking/reading/writing; ability to follow written procedures.
- Safe work practices and support HSE goals.
- Familiar with maintenance tools/equipment; soldering/welding a plus.
- Ability to read/interpret mechanical and electrical prints/schematics.
- Team-collaborative; willingness to work outside craft as required.
- CMMS proficiency; Microsoft applications knowledge.

- Location: Temporary Indianapolis, IN; permanent Lilly Medicine Foundry in Lebanon, IN.
- Shift: 8 hours/day, MβF; weekend on-call as needed.
