Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist supports HR Operations by administering leave and accommodation programs and managing employee data and compliance-related activities. Primary coordinator for high-volume, compliance-sensitive leave and accommodation cases, including oversight of a third-party leave vendor; develops repeatable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
- Administer FMLA, state, and company leave programs (intake, case setup, tracking, closure).
- Manage third-party leave administrator relationship (claims monitoring, weekly reporting, issue resolution; escalate unresolved vendor issues).
- Process leave-related Workday transactions (suspension/reactivation of access for non-exempt employees on continuous leave).
- Provide payroll with accurate leave-of-absence data (wage continuation and return-to-work status).
- Maintain and communicate leave policy updates with Legal and leadership.
- Schedule interactive-process meetings (employee, leader, HRBP) and manage accommodation paperwork intake, tracking, and documentation to closure.
- Prepare case summaries and supporting documentation for HR leadership review.
- Own name/address/job profile changes; manage multi-state address changes requiring tax/compliance review.
- Create/audit supervisory organizations and cost-center assignments in Workday; flag discrepancies.
- Process phone number updates and business card requests.
- Process employment verification requests within service-level timeframes.
- Monitor/respond to HR helpline/shared inbox.
- Develop/maintain process documentation; cross-train for continuity; identify/escalate HR process/system improvements.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years HR experience with hands-on leave administration (FMLA and state leave law).
- Experience managing a third-party leave/benefits vendor.
- HRIS proficiency (Workday/ADP/Oracle) in Absence and HCM modules.
- ADA interactive-process knowledge; accommodation case coordination experience.
- Discretion with confidential medical/personal information.
- Ability to build standardized processes in a high-volume environment.
- On-site in Irving, TX.
- Strong written/verbal communication; point of contact for sensitive matters.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or CLMS.
- Multi-state/public company HR controls (SOX).
- Experience with EEO-1, VETS-4212, or Affirmative Action Plan data collection.
- Workday proficiency.

- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
