People Consultant / Generalist
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on complex workforce matters and HR policy.
- Develop and implement strategies to upskill People Managers; counsel experienced People Managers on HR processes/issues.
- Use discretion and sound judgment to resolve issues.
- Partner with HRBPs to use diagnostics, data, and business insight to identify proactive HR interventions supporting local objectives.
- Ensure workforce and leaders understand People processes.
- Coordinate end-to-end delivery of global priorities and lifecycle processes; advocate for improvements to enhance the employee experience.
- Partner with global COEs/Process Designers to roll out programs and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and market practices across the Americas (US, Latin America, Canada, Brazil) for local compliance.
- Research, resolve, and respond to HR-relevant issues with People Services/HRBPs/COEs.
- Support regional/country/global People-related projects as needed.
Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills
- 6+ years HR experience (preferred in an international, matrixed environment).
- HR (or equivalent) degree.
- Experience across HR Business Partner/Generalist and HR Operations/Services; cross-functional collaboration.
- Employee relations experience.
- Ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong business/analytical acumen, problem-solving/root-cause analysis; manage competing priorities.
- Track record developing employees and managers.
- Continuous improvement mindset; strong communication and change management; excellent English; Americas language proficiency (Spanish/Portuguese/French Canadian) a plus.
