Role Summary

Hospital Account Manager - Arizona. Responsible for the performance of an injectable therapy for schizophrenia within the institutional (hospital) setting in the Arizona market, focusing on hospital channels for long-acting injectable therapy and ensuring compliant, ethical results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals and identify opportunities across care settings.
  • Demonstrate collaborative sales approach across sales leadership, Teva teams, market access, sales operations, and training.
  • Adhere to Teva compliance guidelines and uphold integrity in all activities.
  • Review data reports to identify trends, address concerns, and build relationships with healthcare providers and staff.
  • Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide education.
  • Coordinate with specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability and education as needed.
  • Stay informed on formulary developments within hospitals by working with P&T committees.
  • Collaborate with discharge coordinators to understand patient follow-up and transitions of care.
  • Maintain call averages focused on top target customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required, preferably in long-acting injectable schizophrenia space
  • Hospital setting experience with buy-and-bill, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services required
  • Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Specific experience with long-acting injectables for schizophrenia in hospital settings preferred
  • Experience launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care
  • Injectable and in-office administration experience within a mental health facility
  • Ability to operate within complex settings and networks and provide customer insights

Skills

  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments; proficient with technology
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies; experience in CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice
  • Understanding of the buy-and-bill model
  • Leadership and ability to collaborate with multiple sales teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

Additional Requirements

  • Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Extensive travel throughout the assigned region may be required (air travel, weekends/overnight travel)
