Role: Histotechnician responsible for processing human tissue and fluid specimens for microscopic examination, including slide preparation, immunohistochemistry, and staining procedures. Responsibilities: perform technical duties in histology, operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensure quality control and accurate reporting of results, and adhere to safety and procedural standards. Requirements: Associate's degree in a biological or chemical science, 2+ years of histology experience, familiarity with histology equipment and procedures, strong organization and attention to detail, ability to pass color blindness test. Preferred: Histology and ASCP certifications, immunohistochemistry experience, hospital lab environment experience.
