Role: Histology Supervisor overseeing laboratory operations at Ascension Saint Agnes, responsible for supervising daily histology lab activities, ensuring accurate test performance and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include staff supervision, workflow management, troubleshooting production errors, process improvements, equipment maintenance, and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science; 6+ years of histology experience; 1+ year leadership experience; ASCP or AMT certification preferred. High-Value: clinical histology, regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP), laboratory management, proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems, and team leadership in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
