Job Summary:
Own the B2B customer relationship in large, complex healthcare delivery networks. Serve as primary liaison to major customers, engaging C/D-level clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and deliver a customized value proposition. Meet/exceed sales objectives in an assigned territory using an integrated business plan. Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver clinically brand presentations to drive appropriate product utilization and prescribing within indication.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with IDNs, academic centers, and decision-makers (e.g., CMO, Pharmacy Director, infectious disease specialists, P&T committee members).
- Develop and execute integrated territory/key account plans to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and engage key influencers; meet customer interaction expectations.
- Plan and organize activities to optimize call metrics, coverage, and frequency.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical brand presentations to HCPs.
- Understand customer delivery systems (physician hierarchy, pharmacy, nursing).
- Maintain product/competitor knowledge and monitor local/regional market trends.
- Analyze trends to build long/short-term and product launch business plans.
- Collaborate with sales peers; provide marketing feedback and territory performance analysis.
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; ensure compliance with policies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (relevant field)
- Valid driver’s license
- Travel up to 50%
- Minimum 5 years biotech/pharmaceutical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Product launch sales success; hepatology experience
- Track record meeting sales goals; complex account selling
- Knowledge of Health Systems model (P&T/formulary/decision processes)
- Experience calling on C/D-level in large IDNs; lateral leadership in matrixed org
- Strong presentation/selling skills and business acumen; data-driven planning; adaptability
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred)
Requirements:
- Travel up to 50% (overnights possible); lift/move up to 35 pounds.
