Job Summary
- Own the B2B customer relationship in large, complex healthcare delivery networks (e.g., health systems, CDC awardees, health departments, FQHCs)
- Serve as primary liaison with key customers; engage C/D level clinical & non-clinical stakeholders to understand needs and deliver a customized value proposition
- Meet/exceed sales performance objectives by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan
- Provide scientific/clinical information and deliver clinically brand sales presentations to appropriate healthcare professionals
- Optimize customer engagement using available resources; participate in training and comply with policies
Key Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with IDNs, academic centers, and decision-makers (e.g., CMO, Pharmacy Director, Infectious Disease Specialists, P&T committee)
- Achieve/exceed sales targets for assigned territory via key account business planning
- Identify and engage key influencers; meet customer interaction expectations
- Plan activities to meet call metrics and maximize coverage/frequency
- Deliver clinical brand presentations and drive appropriate product utilization
- Understand customer healthcare delivery systems and stakeholders
- Develop product/competitor knowledge; analyze market trends and create product launch business plans
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze performance and develop territory plans with RSD/brand team
- Manage territory budget; complete administrative tasks; maintain compliance
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field
- Valid driverโs license
- Travel up to 50%
- Role level: Account Manager 6 (5+ years biotech/pharma) or Account Manager 7 (3+ years biotech/pharma)
Preferred Qualifications
- Product launch sales success; hepatology experience preferred
- Track record meeting sales targets; account selling/complex sales expertise
- Health systems model knowledge; C/D-level experience with IDNs
- Lateral leadership in matrixed org; independent/team effectiveness
- Data/trend analysis; adaptability; passion for patient outcomes
- Presentation/selling skills and business acumen; compliance with regulatory standards
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog preferred
