Role: Hematology Key Account Manager responsible for driving access, demand, and strategic growth of Takeda’s Hematology portfolio within assigned geography and key accounts. Responsibilities include developing and executing territory and account plans, managing relationships with Hemophilia Treatment Centers, hospitals, IDNs, and academic institutions, and leading formulary, protocol, and pathway access efforts. The role involves stakeholder engagement, data analysis, clinical and business consulting, and cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Market Access, and Commercial teams. The KAM conducts Quarterly Business Reviews, identifies key opinion leaders, and influences therapeutic protocols in bleeding and clotting disorders. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of healthcare sales, account management, or experience in pharma/biotech/specialty healthcare, with demonstrated success in complex environments and product launches; strong understanding of hematology, hospital, and IDN landscapes; knowledge of payer access and reimbursement. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, experience with buy-and-bill products, and engaging senior clinical leadership. Licensing: Valid Driver’s License; travel up to 50%, including overnight. The role is based in the U.S., virtual, with a salary range of $160,000-$220,000, and involves mandatory product training. High-value biopharma specifics involve specialty hematology, complex healthcare environments, access strategies, and stakeholder engagement within the U.S. healthcare system.
