Role Summary

Hematology Clinical Account Specialist - North Los Angeles territory (Los Angeles North region including Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Duarte and Bakersfield). Field-based role reporting to the Division Manager, responsible for building and implementing territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals, maintaining strong hematology/oncology stakeholder relationships, and driving results in accordance with AbbVie’s mission.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned sales goals.
  • Presents approved disease state and product information to customers using persuasive selling skills within policy guidelines.
  • Leverages sales analytics and customer intelligence to create high-impact strategic plans aligned with brand objectives.
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies within the territory with cross-functional partners and approved resources.
  • Continuously build knowledge of evolving marketplace, territory changes, disease state knowledge, and product expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with all territory partners and external counterpart(s).
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves metrics and optimizes coverage to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of Pharmacyclics activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years Hematology/Oncology sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Competitive selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Background screening as required by institutions/health facilities; immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, and drug screening may be required.
  • Business travel by air or car is regularly required.
  • Ability to drive a personal or company vehicle, or operate related equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
