Role Summary

Head Sales and Marketing Institutional Business to drive North America’s commercial strategy and execution for our Institutional business. Lead commercial efforts across multiple products and therapeutic areas, overseeing P&L, sales, marketing, and generics portfolio strategy to ensure strong market penetration and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy: Create and implement comprehensive commercial strategy for Dr.Reddy’s portfolio of specialty generics to maximize product performance, revenue and market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer behavior to refine product positioning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on commercial strategies, oversee launch readiness and ensure product availability and distribution efficiency.
  • Drive operational activity to optimize sales, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term.
  • Fully accountable for the P&L of the business; oversee commercial readiness including forecasting, pricing and distribution channels.

Sales & Marketing Leadership

  • Provide commercial inputs for diversifying DRL’s product portfolio and participate in Business Development activities.
  • Review brand performance using data insights and pivot as needed; support tactical measures to scale revenue and build brand.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales and marketing organization aligned with objectives and targets.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive sales and the DRL brand.
  • Lead Sales and Marketing leadership with a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum work experience: 10+ years in Marketing and/or Sales with P&L responsibility; proven growth in Specialty Pharma.

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Institutional/hospital network dynamics.
  • Strong external market relationships with key customers/buying groups.
  • Proven leadership in building effective sales teams.
  • Strategic, analytical, and agile with ability to find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and ability to forge internal and external partnerships.
  • Results-driven mindset.
