Head of Technology- Systems & Engineering

Role: Senior technology leader responsible for defining, operating, and modernizing shared R&D platforms across Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine R&D. Objectives include enhancing platform scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence to support drug discovery, development, regulatory, and safety functions. Responsibilities encompass leading cross-functional teams managing finance and planning tools, data, AI and compute platforms, enterprise tools, and lifecycle management; partnering with security and enterprise services; enforcing governance and standards; and overseeing product portfolio strategy, funding, and delivery. Key activities involve driving platform modernization, cloud optimization, automation, risk mitigation, and security integration. Qualifications: 15+ years in enterprise technology leadership, preferably within life sciences or regulated industries; proven experience with cloud, data, AI, software engineering, and cybersecurity; strong track record managing global teams and large-scale platforms; advanced degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.
