Role Summary
The Supply Chain Head at a pharmaceutical site oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, focusing on inventory management, procurement, resource planning, and on-time delivery to achieve operational excellence. Responsible for detailed scheduling and coordination of resources to meet production demands for therapeutic products and clinical studies, while maintaining balanced inventory and cash flow. Ensures reliable material supply, efficient shipping/receiving, and compliant procurement aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure robust site supply chain processes from procurement through delivery.
- Lead demand and production planning, including capacity and scheduling oversight.
- Optimize inventory levels and logistics platforms to meet service and cost targets.
- Oversee shipping/receiving, internal/external warehousing, and material movement.
- Manage vendor contracts in collaboration with Global Procurement.
- Maintain budgetary controls across procurement and logistics functions.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a diverse, high-performing team (5–10 direct reports).
- Build team capabilities in supply chain, OpEx, and GMP operations.
- Support succession planning, onboarding, and technical training.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role within supply chain management or operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Nuclear Medicine industry, including supply chain challenges, regulatory requirements, and standards.
- Experience driving Operational Excellence initiatives and implementing systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations (procurement, inventory, production scheduling, logistics).
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in process and project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability for achieving organizational goals.
