Head of Strategic Planning

Role: The Head of Strategic Planning at BridgeBio leads long-term corporate strategy, pipeline prioritization, and competitive positioning for a $15B rare disease biotech. Responsibilities include developing and managing the company's strategic plan, coordinating cross-functional goal-setting, evaluating and stress-testing pipeline assets, synthesizing external market signals, and supporting strategic transactions. The role involves preparing Board materials, advising executive leadership, and shaping enterprise priorities to accelerate the delivery of life-changing medicines. Requirements: 8-12+ years in strategic planning, management consulting, or investment banking, with significant biotech or pharma sector experience; familiarity with pipeline valuation, rare disease markets, and strategic frameworks; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD) preferred. Key skills include exceptional analytical ability, clear communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. High-value specifics: focus on rare genetic diseases, early to late-stage development, pipeline and portfolio management, and strategic intelligence gathering.
