Description Overview
Head of Nutrition Human Resources (Head of Human Resources)
Oversee Eau Claire, WI; Covington, OH; and Burlington, VT locations and provide strategic HR leadership across the Perrigo Nutrition network. Partner with nutrition leaders to develop and execute talent and human capital strategies aligned to business objectives.
Scope of the Role
- Review location policies/procedures/practices annually and recommend improvements.
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations; ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Manage Union/Management relations; apply collective bargaining terms; investigate/respond to grievances; prepare cases for arbitration; prepare for/participate in bargaining activities.
- Influence change and innovation; partner with site and business unit leadership to deliver solutions and drive performance improvements.
- Manage employee engagement using employee survey analysis, identify engagement gaps, and deploy strategies.
- Drive network-wide program enhancements across Operations and Supply Chain.
- Lead team development, provide leadership coaching, manage large projects/programs, and ensure delivery of best practices.
- Measure and improve key HR metrics/scorecard.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
Experience Required
- 10 years related HR experience; 5+ years in a lead role in unionized manufacturing (preferred).
- Partner with senior leadership on talent strategies.
- Develop and execute programs driving business objectives and operational excellence.
- Build effective relationships with management, Union reps, and employees.
- Lead contract interpretation; handle labor laws/regulations, mediation, unfair labor practice charges; LOA/MOA development at the plant level.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal EQ.
- Develop/evaluate short- and long-term plans.
- Bachelorโs degree in HR management, Psychology, or Business required; Masterโs preferred; SHRM or similar certifications desirable.
