Head of Medical Affairs

Role: Head of Medical Affairs responsible for building and leading a high-performing global Medical Affairs team, supporting product portfolio development, and preparing for US commercialization and Phase 3 global trials. Responsibilities: develop medical strategies, oversee evidence generation including observational studies and registries, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure medical input on clinical development activities. Lead cross-functional collaborations with Program, R&D, Clinical Operations, and Commercial teams; oversee medical communications, scientific engagements, and publications. Manage team recruitment, development, and performance. Requirements: MD or PhD; 15+ years in medical affairs leadership with hands-on experience in evidence generation, stakeholder engagement, and product launches; expertise in gene therapy, gene editing, or rare diseases preferred; strong understanding of clinical trial design, global healthcare systems, and regulatory GxP standards.
