Head of Financial Communications

Role: Director-level responsible for shaping and executing Takeda's global financial communications strategy, with a focus on conveying the company's growth story, performance, and long-term value to shareholders, analysts, employees, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing executive and investor relations messaging, overseeing earnings communications, managing stakeholder engagement, and serving as a strategic advisor to the CFO and Finance Leadership Team. The role entails aligning communications with enterprise strategy, managing media and investor relationships, and leading a global finance communications team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, finance, or related field; 12+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, or finance, preferably within biopharma or a Japan-based multinational; deep understanding of financial markets, corporate governance, disclosure regulations, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
