Corporate Functions
Responsibilities:
- Adopt a contemporary, progressive EHS strategy for the US; lead the EHS agenda across West/East Coast operations.
- Co-create and cascade the Global EHS Vision & Plan; empower/lead the US EHS team with business-aligned objectives.
- Drive improvements through learning; lead development/deployment of a streamlined EHS Management System and frameworks for employee design of risk controls.
- Oversee EHS programs (chemical safety, manufacturing, contractor control, emergency response, environmental protection, etc.); maintain EHS risk management systems and registers.
- Oversee event management and investigations; industrial hygiene and occupational health surveillance.
- Ensure compliance with US legislation/permits; manage assurance programs (deep dives, audits, inspections), advise accountable stakeholders, and establish meaningful metrics/reporting.

Qualifications:
- Proven US EHS leadership and line management experience (essential).
- Life sciences/pharmaceutical (GMP), manufacturing, or engineering environment experience (advantageous).
- Global, matrixed EHS team experience (advantageous).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required.
- Human factors in Health & Safety (HOP, Safety II, New View) (advantageous).

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal/communication (including virtual), collaboration, and ability to present to varied audiences.
- Change leadership, strategic direction, complex cross-site/cross-discipline project management.
