Head, Data & Quantitative Sciences DD&T

Role: Head of DQS DD&T at Takeda, leading the data, AI, and technology strategy for the R&D Data & Quantitative Sciences function. Responsibilities: partner with DQS leadership to develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with pipeline decision-making, trial design, and regulatory processes; oversee the end-to-end technology portfolio ensuring reliability, validation, and compliance; drive transformation applying AI and automation across clinical data workflows; enable scientists with data platforms, AI tools, and model deployment capabilities; lead a global team, manage budgets and external vendors; promote a culture of innovation, agility, and inspection readiness. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 12+ years in pharma/biotech R&D tech, with leadership experience managing teams and budgets; proven ability to partner with biometrics, data science, and scientific stakeholders; deep knowledge of GxP, validation, data integrity; familiarity with statistical environments, regulatory submission workflows, AI in regulated settings. Preferred: hands-on biostatistics or data science background; experience with AI, machine learning, automation, and global delivery models.
