      Role Summary
 Graduate Intern – Business Operations in R&D Strategy & Operations. Join Amgen’s mission to serve patients and contribute to R&D strategy and operations across multiple functional areas in a 12-week internship.
 
 Responsibilities
 
  - Support one or more RDSO verticals within R&D BusOps to advance mission and drive operational excellence.
 
  - Collaborate across Research & Development, Chief Medical Office, Chief Technology Office, Quality & Compliance, and other functions.
 
  - Contribute to projects related to budget planning & management, supplier management, global business transactions, analytics, lab operations, and ESG programs.
 
  - Assist in turning analytics into insights to deliver value and results.
 
  - Engage in experiential learning and project-based tasks over approximately 12 weeks.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
  - Required: 18 years or older; bachelor’s degree; current enrollment in an MBA, Master’s, PharmD, or PhD program with specified completion timing; must be located in the United States for the internship duration; authorization to work in the U.S. for the program duration.
 
  - Preferred: pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Management Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Communications, Psychology, Human Resources or related field; strong written and verbal communication; highly organized with multi-tasking ability; enthusiasm, proactivity, and willingness to learn; adaptability to ambiguity; basic project management understanding.
