Role: Global Medical Director leading medical affairs strategy for Moderna's oncology portfolio from early development to commercialization. Responsibilities include owning and executing the global medical strategy, serving as the medical lead in regulatory and external stakeholder interactions, guiding evidence development and medical governance, and coordinating cross-functional medical teams. The position entails leading medical planning, supporting launch readiness, developing scientific partnerships, and managing medical affairs budgets. Requirements: MD, PharmD, or PhD with at least 15 years of global oncology-focused medical affairs leadership experience, including launch and lifecycle management in immuno-oncology or melanoma. Preferred qualifications involve expertise in immunotherapy, external stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership across regulatory, clinical, biostatistics, and pharmacovigilance. High-Value: Oncology, immuno-oncology, early development through post-market, global regulatory interactions, evidence strategy, and digital tools integration. Collaboration with internal teams and external thought leaders is integral. The role reports to the VP, Head of Medical Affairs Oncology, and involves extensive external engagement, with a hybrid work model and potential global travel.
