Role Summary
Global Hospital & Biosimilars Health System Director Southeast will lead pricing and contracting discussions with Key Accounts in support of the biosimilar portfolio. This role requires engaging executive and administrative customers to communicate pricing and value propositions, secure formulary access, and drive pull-through across Hospital & Biosimilars portfolios. The role also involves developing regional hospital and biosimilar strategies, leading cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring compliant contracting strategies with HQ functions.
Responsibilities
- Appropriate communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support pricing/contracting strategy and discussions with Hospital & Biosimilars Key Accounts.
- Develop and execute focused, strategic account plans for assigned accounts with emphasis on compliant contracting and contract pull-through.
- Engage executive and administrative personnel within HSD accounts with respect to pricing/value messages for the full Hospital & Biosimilars portfolio.
- Support development and execution of contracting strategy for the full Biosimilars portfolio by representing the needs of HSD accounts to HQ-based functions.
- Comply with all Corporate Policies and Procedures while maintaining high standards of business conduct.
Qualifications
- 8 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical affairs, and/or corporate account management with customer-facing experience.
- 3โ5 years of direct biosimilars and Generic Sterile Injectables experience, including knowledge of regulatory pathways (FDA, EMA, Health Canada) and interchangeability requirements.
- Preferred: Oncology and/or Immunology & Inflammation therapeutic area expertise.
- Proven success engaging Academic Medical Centers, IDNs, and large group practice community accounts.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare landscape, including healthcare reform, and impact on provider accounts/customers.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to deliver pricing/value messages in a compliant manner.
- Demonstrated ability to engage executive-level personnel and deliver customer impact; strategic thinking to formulate and monitor stakeholder business plans.
- Experience in executing and overseeing highly complex programs; strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership of teams.
- Bachelorโs Degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
