Position Summary
Global Head of People Experience & Change - Orthopedics. Design and lead an employee experience strategy and enterprise-wide change initiatives that improve business performance, organizational agility, and employee engagement across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global People Experience vision aligned to business strategy and culture.
- Design employee experiences for lifecycle moments:
- Attraction & onboarding (including IT), growth & development, performance & feedback, career mobility, rewards & recognition, leadership transitions, wellbeing & inclusion, offboarding/alumni.
- Apply journey mapping, employee listening, and behavioral insights to redesign experiences.
- Lead enterprise change management for transformations including: organizational redesign, digital/HR technology transformation, M&A/integrations/carve-outs, new operating models, workforce strategy shifts, and culture transformation.
- Build enterprise readiness, adoption, and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Own employee listening strategy (engagement/pulse surveys, focus groups, sentiment analysis, diagnostics) and translate insights into actions; measure outcomes by unit/region/level/segment.
- Partner with Internal Communications and executives on change narratives; ensure consistent global communications; equip leaders with messaging/toolkits.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards (adoption, engagement, readiness, productivity impact, retention, program ROI); report to executives/Board as needed.
- Build and lead a global center of excellence; develop capabilities in change management, experience design, communications, analytics, and execution.
Required Experience
- 15+ years progressive leadership in HR/Transformation/Employee Experience/Org Effectiveness/Consulting or related.
- Proven leadership of enterprise-wide global change in complex matrix organizations.
- Deep expertise in employee experience design and change management methodologies.
- Multinational/regional experience; strong analytics orientation.
- Executive communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred Experience
- Fortune 500/public company; consulting (McKinsey/BCG/Deloitte/Accenture) or transformation office.
- Experience in healthcare/medtech/manufacturing/regulated industries.
- M&A integration/spin-off/carve-out; familiarity with HR tech platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.).
