Position Summary:
- Lead and design the Global People Experience & Change strategy for Orthopedics, driving enterprise-wide change initiatives that improve business performance, organizational agility, and employee engagement.
- Shape the employee experience across the lifecycle (onboarding, career growth, leadership transitions, organizational change, wellbeing, recognition, and culture moments).
- Oversee change management for major enterprise initiatives to ensure adoption, engagement, readiness, and measurable impact globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead a global People Experience vision aligned to business strategy and culture.
- Design employee experiences across lifecycle moments: attraction & onboarding (incl. IT), growth & development, performance & feedback, career mobility, rewards & recognition, leadership transitions, wellbeing & inclusion, offboarding/alumni.
- Apply journey mapping, employee listening, and behavioral insights to redesign experiences.
- Lead change strategy and execution for transformations: organizational redesign, digital/HR technology transformation, M&A/integrations/carve-outs, new operating models, workforce strategy shifts, culture transformation.
- Own employee listening (engagement/pulse surveys, focus groups, sentiment analysis, targeted diagnostics) and translate insights into actions; measure outcomes by unit/region/level/segment.
- Partner with Internal Communications and executives; ensure transparent, inspiring global communications; equip leaders with messaging/toolkits.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for adoption, engagement, readiness, productivity impact, retention, and program ROI; report to executive leadership/Board.
- Build and lead a global Center of Excellence; develop capabilities in change management, experience design, communications, analytics, and program execution.
Required Experience:
- 15+ years progressive leadership in HR, Transformation, Employee Experience, Organizational Effectiveness, Consulting, or related.
- Proven enterprise-wide global change leadership in complex matrix organizations.
- Expertise in employee experience design and change management methodologies.
- Experience across multinational/regional environments.
- Strong analytics orientation; converts data into action.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred Experience:
- Fortune 500/public company experience.
- Consulting (McKinsey/BCG/Deloitte/Accenture) or enterprise transformation office.
- Healthcare/medtech/manufacturing/consumer or other regulated industries.
- M&A integration, spin-off, or carve-out experience.
- HR technology platform familiarity (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.).
Benefits:
- Vacation: 120 hours/calendar year; Sick time: 40 hours (Colorado: 48; Washington: 56); Holiday pay incl. floating holidays: 13 days.
