Role Description
- Interpret digital cytology and hematology cases submitted via Imagyst Digital Cytology (US and international).
- Provide glass slide review as part of the quality control workflow.
- Participate in CE offerings/wet labs for veterinarians and technicians.
- Support the veterinary community.
Position Responsibilities
- Primary case coverage for digital cases submitted on Vetscan Imagyst.
- Participate in the quality control program.
- Participate in local/regional customer outreach and education.
Education and Experience
- ACVP or ECVCP Clinical Pathology board certification or board eligibility.
- DVM (or equivalent).
- Formal pathology training: residency or graduate studies (Masterβs or PhD) in a clinical pathology-related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of digital cytology experience (preferred).
Technical Skills Requirements
- Strong diagnostic skills in clinical pathology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to changing methods and technologies.
- Commitment to highest quality standards.
Physical Position Requirements
- Able to work on a computer, sitting, for extended hours.
- Ability to travel (including international) for internal meetings and client-facing education.
- Occasional unusual hours (evenings, weekends, early mornings).
- Reliable remote internet connection with consistent download speed of at least 50 Mbps.
Compensation and Benefits
- U.S. base salary range (full-time): $106,000 to $152,000.
- Eligible for short-term incentive compensation and long-term incentives.
- Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare/insurance day one, 401K with match and profit-sharing, and 4 weeks of vacation.
