About the role
Global Brand Lead (Director level) responsible for leading global commercialization strategy and launch readiness for an asset in IgA Nephropathy (IgAN). Develops and stewards global brand positioning, core campaign, and branded materials; translates market/customer/competitive insights into commercial initiatives; ensures regional/country perspectives are incorporated in a matrix organization.
How you will contribute
- Drive global pre-commercialization and early market building initiatives; serve as brand champion; establish global brand identity, campaign, and key messages; define and implement growth-driving marketing initiatives.
- Develop global positioning, brand identity, and creative campaign with key markets; partner with Insights and Analytics to identify key insights; differentiate in a competitive IgAN landscape.
- Build core promotional materials for LOCs/launch: develop/test product claims and messages; build a brand book; develop core visual aids; partner with regions/LOCs for material input.
- Lead differentiation initiatives: implement differentiated branded marketing initiatives; partner with regions/LOCs for successful launch and to share/adapt best practices; ensure timely delivery of initiatives and tools for launch preparedness.
- Partner cross-functionally with regions and key countries; capture and integrate regional feedback; support sub-teams as needed.
- Support governance/OPEX management and manage external partners: monitor OPEX vs plan and adjust resources; manage agencies/partners for compliant, high-quality execution; support launch roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- University degree (marketing, business, life sciences, or related); advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience; therapeutic-area/rare-disease preferred.
- Strong in-line/global brand marketing experience; US/regional/global launch experience preferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, influencing, and stakeholder management.
- Proven ability in matrixed, cross-functional, global environments.
- Experience leading pre-launch/launch planning for specialty-care or rare-disease products.
- Strategic marketing/brand-building skills (positioning, campaign development, customer engagement).
- Experience partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Regulatory.
Travel requirements
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
