Role Summary
Specialty Care – GI Health & Science Specialist (field-based) driving launch and growth of GI products through compliant, strategic relationships within assigned accounts.
Role Responsibilities
- Drive customer engagement and sales performance via effective in-person interactions.
- Build strong, compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff across assigned accounts.
- Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate product use.
- Use product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities and prioritize accounts.
- Support patient access by providing information on reimbursement, hubs, and co-pay resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and advance business objectives.
- Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree + 8+ years experience OR high school diploma + 10+ years experience.
- Work experience (min. 3 years) in one or more: pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device marketing; aligned therapeutic-specific healthcare provider experience.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies hiring.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years specialty sales (preferably GI, immunology, or inflammation)
- Specialty reimbursement/distribution knowledge; experience engaging KOLs/high-influence accounts
- Business acumen, data-driven/strategic thinking
- Digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams) and comfort with hybrid selling.
Work Location & Travel
- Reside within workable distance of territory points of business; ability to travel to all accounts/office locations; overnight stays as needed.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary: $108,600–$250,700.
- During initial training: salary non-exempt (overtime eligible); after certification: overtime exempt.
- Sales Incentive bonus.
