Position Summary
Manager, Full Stack Engineer in an AI-first, agile product team supporting Global Development Operations (GDO). Accountable for designing, building, and operating AI-native products using large language models, agentic workflows, and data-driven intelligence.
Specific Responsibilities
- Design and maintain LLM-native/agentic systems as long-lived products (human-in-the-loop, continuous learning, monitoring, governance) using Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain.
- Partner with product managers and GDO stakeholders to identify AI opportunities to augment decisions and automate execution in clinical/operational workflows.
- Design/develop/maintain secure, scalable apps using Python/Java/Node JS/React JS.
- Support and continuously improve a portfolio of SaaS and in-house applications (availability, performance, stability).
- Manage application support, incident resolution, enhancements, and lifecycle across enterprise platforms.
- Build with microservices, APIs, MCPs, event-driven processes, and middleware.
- Investigate system/data issues; deliver short-term remediation and long-term strategy.
- Implement CI/CD.
- Monitor model performance; manage drift, retraining, and rollback.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security.
Requirements / Skills
- 5+ years software engineering (Pharma/Life Sciences a plus); Bachelorβs in CS/SE or related.
- SDLC in regulated environments; proven production-grade Generative/Agentic AI delivery.
- Build Generative/Agentic apps (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, etc.).
- Python + React; Java or TypeScript familiarity.
- REST APIs, MCPs, FastAPI; JSON/XML; TensorFlow/PyTorch knowledge.
- AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SageMaker).
- SQL/NoSQL analytics; efficient query writing.
- Problem-solving, analytical, leadership; strong communication in matrix orgs.
