Position Summary
- Responsible for the overall portfolio of grants and sponsorships for BioMarin’s Corporate Affairs function.
- Partner closely with Legal and Compliance to support review and contracting processes; maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct processes and procedures in accordance with Compliance and Legal standards and SOPs.
- Manage budget tracking; support Corporate Affairs vendor management and contracting.
- Develop proficiency in relevant portals/tools, coordinate review committees, drive process improvements, and support Corporate Affairs operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Track end-to-end lifecycle of grants, sponsorships, and memberships.
- Support vendor contracting and ongoing vendor management.
- Coordinate Veeva compliance reviews for event-related and patient-facing materials to ensure timely routing and approval.
- Partner with Finance to develop, track, and reconcile budgets; participate in annual budget planning and forecasting.
- Create and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards for grants tracking and budget status.
- Understand data management systems for review/approval/archiving of grants, sponsorships, memberships, and vendor activity; create status metrics and dashboards.
- Ensure all activity complies with BioMarin policies and industry guidelines.

Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage complex information across functions.
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Veeva Vault or similar MLR review and request management platforms (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills with close attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant guidelines and compliance around Grant Programs.
