The Position
- Formulation of insulin & media preparations under aseptic conditions to achieve production goals.

Relationships
- Reports to Shift Manager.

Essential Functions
- Perform formulation of insulin, media, sanitant & other preparations
- Operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes
- Achieve production goals
- Maintain aseptic areas & perform environmental monitoring
- Conduct Event & Process Root Cause Analysis
- Review & author SOPs and other required documents
- Assist during equipment maintenance (restoration of lost function; predictive & preventative maintenance)
- Record/review production data in BPR & associated forms
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements; other accountabilities as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree (preferred)
- 6+ months manufacturing experience (required; may be waived with military experience, BioWorks/BioBlend certification, or equivalent; or current Novo Nordisk contractor with 3 months demonstrated performance)
- FDA-regulated environment experience (preferred)
- Formulation experience (preferred)
- Ability to read/write/understand complex product documentation and SOPs (required)
- Computer literacy (preferred)
