Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides on-demand and proactive scientific support within the rare kidney disease space, focusing on effective engagement with nephrologists and advanced practice providers. Objectives include facilitating fair-balanced scientific exchange, supporting medical education, and contributing to medical projects aligned with the company's strategic goals. Responsibilities encompass conducting non-promotional scientific discussions, delivering medical presentations, providing short-term KOL coverage, supporting congress activities, and documenting insights in compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves managing medical inquiries, supporting medical initiatives, and maintaining updated scientific knowledge on rare kidney diseases and therapies.
Qualifications: Requires an advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP) and 2+ years of MSL experience, preferably in nephrology or rare diseases like IgAN or FSGS. Demonstrated success in supporting product launches and experience working with KOLs and medical congresses are preferred. Candidates should possess strong scientific acumen, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with CRM tools like Veeva. Knowledge of FDA, PhRMA guidelines, and industry standards is essential.
