Flex Medical Science Liaison - South Central

Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supports scientific exchange and medical education for Travere's therapies targeting rare kidney diseases. Responsibilities include conducting fair-balanced, non-promotional scientific discussions with nephrologists and advanced practice practitioners, providing short-term KOL coverage, supporting medical education efforts, representing the organization at congresses, capturing HCP insights, and ensuring compliance with medical and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting medical projects aligned with organizational goals. Requirements: Advanced degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP) preferred; 2+ years MSL experience in pharma/biotech, with nephrology or rare disease experience strongly preferred. Skills include deep scientific expertise, peer-to-peer engagement, excellent communication, project management, and familiarity with industry compliance (FDA, PhRMA). Work setup: Field-based, remote, covering specific territories, with up to 60-80% travel and some evening/weekend work. The position emphasizes collaboration, strategic thinking, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
