Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides on-demand, scientific, non-promotional medical support within rare kidney disease therapeutic areas, primarily engaging with community nephrologists and advanced practice practitioners. Objectives include supporting clinical understanding, fostering scientific exchange, and representing Travere’s medical interests at congresses. Responsibilities encompass conducting fair-balanced scientific discussions, delivering medical education, providing interim KOL coverage, capturing insights, supporting medical projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requirements: Advanced degree (preferably Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP), 2+ years of MSL experience in pharma/biotech, ideally with nephrology or rare disease expertise (e.g., IgAN, FSGS). Strong scientific acumen, excellent communication, and experience engaging with KOLs and supporting product launches are preferred. High-value: Focus on rare kidney diseases, biologics or small molecules, clinical support in early to late phases, and compliance with FDA and industry standards. Work setup is field-based with a remote/territory model, requiring up to 60-80% travel. The role emphasizes collaboration, scientific expertise, and strategic engagement aligned with medical affairs strategies.
