Flex Medical Science Liaison - South Central

Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides on-demand and proactive scientific support within the field, focusing on rare kidney diseases. Key objectives include engaging with nephrologists and advanced practice providers to facilitate scientific exchange, support educational initiatives, and contribute to medical projects, all aligned with the company's medical strategy. Responsibilities encompass conducting fair, balanced scientific discussions, delivering medical education, supporting congress activities, capturing HCP insights, and ensuring compliant documentation using CRM tools. The role demands short-term coverage of key opinion leaders and territories, with a focus on advancing understanding of disease mechanisms and therapies in rare kidney conditions. Qualifications include a relevant advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, NP, PA) and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical or biotech MSL experience, preferably in nephrology or rare diseases such as IgA Nephropathy or FSGS. Experience supporting product launches and working with KOLs is highly valued. Candidates must possess strong scientific acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage in peer-to-peer medical dialogue. The position is field-based, requiring residence within the assigned territory and up to 60-80% travel. Candidates should demonstrate collaboration, strategic thinking, and compliance knowledge, with proficiency in Veeva or similar CRM platforms.
