Flex Medical Science Liaison - East

Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides on-demand and proactive scientific support to healthcare professionals, focusing on rare kidney diseases, to support clinical understanding and appropriate therapy use. Responsibilities include conducting fair-balanced scientific exchanges, responding to unsolicited medical inquiries, supporting medical education and congress activities, documenting insights, and contributing to medical projects. The role involves short-term and extended KOL coverage, maintaining scientific expertise in nephrology, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requirements: Advanced degree (e.g., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD), 2+ years of MSL experience in biotech/pharma, with preference for candidates experienced in nephrology or rare diseases like IgAN or FSGS. Skills include deep scientific knowledge, strong communication, and ability to engage in peer-to-peer dialogue; familiarity with CRM tools (Veeva) and FDA/industry compliance. The position demands a field-based setup, requiring up to 60-80% travel, and involves working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
