Flex Medical Science Liaison - East

Role: The Flex Medical Science Liaison (MSL) provides on-demand, proactive scientific support within the rare kidney disease space, focusing on community nephrologists and advanced practitioners to support clinical understanding and appropriate therapy use. Responsibilities include conducting fair-balanced scientific discussions (non-promotional), delivering medical education, supporting medical project activities, and representing the organization at congresses. The role entails short-term KOL coverage, gathering insights on unmet needs, and ensuring compliant documentation of interactions. Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP) with 2+ years of pharma/biotech MSL experience, preferably in nephrology or rare diseases like IgAN or FSGS. Experience supporting launches, working with KOLs, and at medical congresses is valued. Skills include deep scientific expertise, excellent communication, strategic thinking, and familiarity with FDA and industry compliance standards. The position is field-based, requiring residence within the assigned territory, with up to 60-80% travel. The role supports Travere’s mission in rare diseases, emphasizing collaboration, scientific rigor, and patient-focused engagement.
