Your Role:
As the site’s functional expert, the Financial Controller will be responsible for financial reporting and financial management of the entire site, including balance sheet, income statement, Sarbanes-Oxley control documentation, execution and sub-certification processes, and business relationships/contracting. Leads the business performance portion of monthly reporting to senior Elanco management.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the senior financial analyst (HR/C&B/performance) and preparation for metric reporting and annual business planning (capacities, standard costing, business partner interaction).
- Ensure expenses, variances, and inventories are accurate/timely; forecasts reflect expected monthly results.
- Own financial control processes and segments of planning, reporting, forecasting, and special projects (six sigma/productivity); strong core accounting principles.
- Implement and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls; review controls and monthly documentation; lead internal/external auditors through controls and asset verifications.
- Interpret financial data to support day-to-day operations; provide timely metrics/analysis and accountability.
- Support special projects to improve the business; lead employees/projects/leaders/functions.
- Own $90M budget, including capital budget cost of goods and inventory stocks.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Finance/Accounting or MBA (with technical/operations undergrad in Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology).
- 5+ years cost controller experience.
- People management/development experience in manufacturing.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship anticipated.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S4, SAP BW, PowerBI, Onestream.
- Financial stewardship (controls, forecast/closing, management reporting); lead monthly closing; maintain internal control environment.
- Strategic planning/long-range planning; proactive PLT participation; business partnering; business planning (standard costs, absorption/variances, gross margin improvement).
