Job Description
The primary objective of this position is to provide financial leadership for the Global Latest Best Estimates (LBE) planning process for the Commercial Controllership Organization. Provide financial analysis, recommendations, and decision-making support, and support development and implementation of processes to enable accurate and timely consolidations of LBEs.
Responsibilities
- Lead global commercial financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate business inputs.
- Consolidate planning materials and deliver executive-ready financial summaries for senior stakeholders.
- Guide business units through planning cycles (timelines, guidance, assumption validation, result consolidation).
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, corporate, legal, R&D, operations, and global teams.
- Perform financial system tie-outs to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
- Maintain and improve planning templates, schedules, mock books, and supporting financial documentation.
- Analyze performance vs. plan, prior forecasts, prior year, and other benchmarks to identify trends/variances.
- Highlight key risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
- Prepare actionable planning materials and presentations for leadership review.
- Manage, coach, and develop finance team members.
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Bachelorβs degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial planning processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- SAP and BPC; Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to identify issues and analyze related data to solve business problems.
- Ability to work independently and in teams across multiple functions/divisions.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance competing priorities.
