Position Overview
A&D Operations Finance Manager has region specific and/or global financial responsibility for A&D project(s) within the A&D portfolio, including leading financial integration of acquired businesses (FP&A/Reporting, Deal Close, project plans, budgets) and on divestiture side leading end-to-end carve-out financial statement development, sell-side financial due diligence, and accounting advisory support for strategic/private equity investors and asset-based lenders.

Responsibilities
- Lead integration workstreams to onboard acquired businesses into J&Jโ€™s financial landscape (financial systems, planning, reporting).
- Collaborate with BU Finance and cross-functional partners on project plans and integration budgets.
- Partner with BD, M&A Finance, GTAAS and Tax on Deal Close; support paying agent engagement; create Opening Balance Sheet (OBS) and BRAVO reporting approach/setup.
- Lead data gathering/compilation of externally reported carve-out financial statements for future divestitures.
- Review and analyze carve-out business P&L and balance sheet.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to compile audit-based and deal-based financial documents.
- Develop stand-alone/carve-out analyses and determine proper expense allocation methodologies.
- Frame financial information for external users and provide input to legal documents (asset purchase agreement, TSA, transition manufacturing agreement).
- Develop TSA financials and pricing models; support TSA billing.
- Lead global team for cross-functional separation plans.
- Lead residual cost analytics and management review presentations; manage change and project risk.
- Deliver project-specific financial commitments and outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Accounting/Finance preferred).
- Advanced degree or certifications (MBA/Masterโ€™s, CMA, CPA) preferred.
- 5 years progressive finance/accounting/related experience.
- Supervisory experience in people/talent development.
- Knowledge of finance/accounting processes.
- Microsoft Office; intermediate-advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong communication/presentation and ability to influence in a highly matrixed environment; independent and able to lead/plan/prioritize.
- Experience on complex global projects preferred.
- Technical accounting, financial reporting, and compliance knowledge preferred.
