Finance Lead - R&D

Role: Lead analytics and technology development for clinical trial financial forecasting within AbbVie's Center of Excellence, focusing on transforming data into actionable insights. Responsibilities: translate complex datasets into clear reports; develop and enhance financial systems, dashboards, and AI-enabled capabilities; automate manual processes; collaborate across Clinical Development Operations, Business Technology Solutions, and other functions to integrate financial and operational data; support system design and validation, including scaling new AI tools. Qualifications: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Life Sciences; 7+ years relevant finance or analytics experience; proficiency in dashboards, reporting solutions, and financial systems; strong analytical skills with large datasets; interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies; excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; biotech/pharma industry experience; familiarity with SAP, BPC, Power BI, ClinPro, Clin2Pay; experience with data visualization and financial planning platforms.
