Finance Lead, R&D

Role: Finance Lead for R&D at Glaukos, serving as a strategic financial partner to support decision-making, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: oversee global R&D financial planning, month-end close, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets; develop study-level financial trackers; prepare variance analyses; partner with Accounting for accruals; provide financial guidance to department leaders; utilize analytics and automation tools for reporting; support business cases for initiatives and product launches; collaborate across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Audit functions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related; 5+ years of relevant finance experience; proficiency in Excel financial modeling; hands-on experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or R&D finance.
