2nd Shift (15:30 to 00:00). 100% on-site (Rahway, NJ). Responsible for hands-on sterile filling operations (including lyophilization and capping), filling line set-up, machinability runs, and simple adjustments to ensure smooth GMP processing. Support formulation development by capturing process knowledge and providing product/process feedback. Adhere to cGMP/GMP procedures, maintain accurate GMP documentation in electronic systems (PAS-X preferred), and participate in continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot/adjust process and production equipment for safe, compliant operations in a cGMP environment.
- Set up/changeover/test runs for containers, stoppers, and caps; make mechanical/electrical adjustments.
- Perform aseptic processing: sterile filling per GMP/SOPs; aseptic interventions within a Grade A isolator; operate/maintain isolators.
- Conduct routine microbial and particulate sampling (environmental monitoring).
- Follow inspection batch records/protocols; report recurring issues/trends.
- Work in Grade C cleanroom conditions; gowning with respirators.
- Assist training, support investigations, implement corrective/preventative actions; overtime expected.

Education/Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or associate degree (A.A.S.)/vocational certificate.
- Preferred: trade/technical diploma or A.A.S. in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation (or related).

Experience/Skills:
- 2+ years as a technician in manufacturing/military/automotive/aviation/industrial; set-up/changeover, assembly/disassembly, operation, and modifications of complex high-speed equipment.
- Strong written/verbal communication; computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, HMI use, SAP, calibration/maintenance databases).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform cleanroom gowning/respirator use.
- Preferred: regulated pharmaceutical/biotech cGMP experience; automation/isolators/containment/aseptic automated filling; vision systems; PLC/HMIs; MES; troubleshooting; aseptic filling and glass vial visual inspection.
