Operations
Role Responsibilities
- Operate highly automated aseptic filling equipment to load drug product into vials, syringes, and cartridges; assemble filled product into syringes and autoinjectors; and run packaging lines to label/configure product for distribution.
- Monitor production using process controls and feedback systems (pneumatics, robotics, manual checks, PLCs) to ensure throughput, quality, and compliance.
- Perform equipment changeovers, cleaning, handling, and installation of interchangeable parts; maintain clean, safe, inspection-ready workspaces and equipment.
- Maintain gowning qualification and aseptic/cleanroom behaviors; perform environmental monitoring and sampling.
- Create, follow, and improve SOPs and operating procedures aligned with cGMP/regulatory expectations; ensure compliance and escalate nonconformities.
- Record/review GMP data using ALCOA principles; reconcile product/controlled materials; ensure complete training documentation.
- Use electronic systems (MES/eBR, LIMS, training systems, Microsoft Office) for manufacturing operations/documentation.
- Travel domestically/internationally as needed for production or technology transfer.
Qualifications
- HS diploma/GED.
- Or AS/BS/BA in Life Sciences or related field.
- Shift work: multiple shifts (4 working days, 10 hours) supporting 24/7 production; location Rensselaer, New York, with occasional on-call/weekend flexibility.
