Role: Field Service Engineer 1 responsible for timely and accurate preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment across Jackson, MS, and surrounding areas. Objectives include supporting equipment installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction through service excellence. Core responsibilities encompass completing maintenance tasks, assisting with installations, communicating effectively with customers and team members, managing administrative duties, and participating in sales and account management activities. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military training; 2+ years of experience servicing electronic or electro-mechanical equipment or relevant internships; valid driver’s license; proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; willingness to travel. Preferred: technical expertise with OEC Surgery C-Arms. High-value specifics: focus on medical equipment in healthcare settings; on-site customer support; physical ability to lift 35 lbs, and perform various physical activities; compliance with healthcare quality and safety standards; work in a regulated environment. Collaboration involves working with experienced engineers, customer stakeholders, and commercial teams. Work setup includes on-site support with occasional remote work, with travel within the region.
