Role: Field Reimbursement Manager supporting Amgen's Bone Health products within the Seattle, Washington region. Primary objectives include managing patient access and reimbursement processes, educating healthcare providers on payer coverage, and resolving coverage issues related to private and public payers, including Medicare and Medicaid. Responsibilities encompass executing territory strategic plans, providing live one-on-one reimbursement support, assisting with prior authorizations, appeals, and claims resolution, and collaborating with internal teams like the HUB to address reimbursement challenges. Requirements: Doctorate, Master’s with 3+ years, Bachelor’s with 5+ years, or Associate’s with 10+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors, with experience managing people or projects. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managed care, clinical support, or sales, with strong knowledge of medical reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, and billing/coding processes. Skills: excellent communication, presentation, project management, and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred: Bachelor’s in healthcare/business, 6+ years in biologics or specialty products, advanced understanding of CMS policies, and familiarity with buy & bill or pharmacy benefit products. The role involves 2 days/week in the field, remote work, and up to 40% travel.
