Field Reimbursement Manager - Northwest

Role: Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) responsible for expert guidance on access, coverage, and reimbursement for Alnylam products within assigned territories. Primary objectives include educating healthcare providers on reimbursement pathways, addressing access barriers, and supporting patient enrollment and support programs. Responsibilities encompass analyzing payer criteria, providing reimbursement education, collaborating with field sales and specialty pharmacy teams, and monitoring payer policy updates, particularly across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., 1.5+ years as reimbursement specialist, 2+ years in specialty pharma or biologics practice management), proficiency in prior authorization and appeals processes, with experience in cardiology or rare diseases preferred. Strong knowledge of payer systems, Hub activities, and reimbursement strategies is essential. The role demands valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays. High-value specifics: focus on specialty biologics within the RNAi therapeutics space, with a regional scope covering northern US states.
