Field Access Manager (FAM), Neuro/Rare Patient Access (Patient Access team)

Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Optimize patient access by navigating reimbursement and access challenges to ensure timely therapy access.
- Provide tailored, field-based education on reimbursement processes to key accounts (provider groups, hospitals, academic institutions, specialty pharmacies, and other stakeholders); anticipate and address access challenges.
- Build strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations to identify and resolve reimbursement/access issues for therapy initiation and continuation.
- Enhance team capabilities by educating internal teams on complex reimbursement/access scenarios.
- Stay informed on healthcare policies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelorโ€™s Degree.
- 5+ years field-based experience in account management, sales, or medical affairs.
- Strong knowledge of reimbursement landscape and practice management.
- Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive access outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong relationship development and issue resolution.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Desired:
- 5+ years reimbursement experience in pharma/biotech/rare disease.
- MBA/advanced degree; experience in healthcare policy/market access.
- Familiarity with buy-and-bill and pharmacy models; experience with specialty/high-cost therapies.

Location/Travel:
- California (Virtual); up to 75% travel; must live in territory; drive/fly as needed; clean valid driverโ€™s license.

Comp/Benefits (if stated):
- Base salary range: $152,000โ€“$209,000.
