Position Summary
- Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) serving as in-market reimbursement expert for physician practices using Harrow buy-and-bill drugs across Retina and Surgical franchises.
- Provide non-promotional, compliant education to improve access and reimbursement for Harrow brands.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as primary field point of contact for reimbursement support for practice administrators, billing/coding staff, and clinical staff.
- Educate on payer coverage, medical benefit billing/coding (HCPCS/CPT/J-codes, ICD-10, modifiers), prior authorizations, and claims submission best practices.
- Support prior authorization and appeals by educating on payer-specific requirements and documentation.
- Coordinate patient support programs and warm handoffs to the HUB.
- Manage accounts: build relationships; conduct structured business reviews (QBRs) to address denials and barriers; target at-risk accounts.
- Partner with Sales on account priorities and coordinated, compliant support.
- Perform account-level claims analysis; maintain payer policy knowledge (Commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid).
- Escalate systemic/complex payer issues with data and recommendations.
- Collaborate with HUB/Patient Services; provide field intelligence; document activities and resolutions in CRM.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 7+ years in healthcare reimbursement/brand management/sales (required).
- Bachelor’s preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Buy-and-bill experience required.
- 2+ years Field Reimbursement experience required.
- Healthcare credentialing/certification preferred; eye care, private equity, HCPCS J-code & Transitional Pass-Through experience preferred.
- Experience with benefit verification, PA, claim assistance, appeals; Medicare (MACs), Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Medicaid coverage.
- Claims analysis and conducting regular QBRs.
Work Setting
- Remote; travel up to 80%.
