The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) in a designated territory. The FRM addresses patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, provides expertise on coverage and reimbursement challenges, educates on patient prescription status and program eligibility, and supports payer-process understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators/office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and bagging options).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Share localized expertise on payer policies and utilization management criteria, including medical billing/coding updates and claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status/program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access.
- Build and maintain provider relationships in the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care/reimbursement/policy trends.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with market access/payer account management expertise.
- Expertise in drug acquisition/dispensing in specialty biologics (Buy and Bill; reimbursement analysis; specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Strong territory/account management; leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate coding/billing technical elements for Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D (and associated reimbursement dynamics).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risk for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate, leading without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements; may drive personal or company vehicle.
